Blue Jays now former player Joey Votto announce his retirement from baseball around two weeks ago after signing with his hometown team last off-season in hopes of getting to play in Toronto.

Despite Votto only getting the chance to play for the Blue Jays at Spring training, Topps trading cards decided to produce a Joey Votto Blue Jays card anyway.

Joey Votto retired before playing a regular season game with the Toronto Blue Jays.

That didn't stop Topps from producing this card in their 2024 Chrome series.

It will be interesting to see if this cards ends up becoming valuable since he never actually played a regular season game for the Jays.
