The Toronto Blue Jays injury problems continue as pitcher Ryan Burr just left the game against the Chicago White Sox.
Blue Jays announce injury update on Ryan Burr
The Blue Jays are currently losing 2-1 in the 8th inning to the White Sox when Burr left the game with what seems to be a shoulder injury.
Burr was on the mound when he was pulled from the game after catcher Tyler Heineman signaled the dugout to check on his which led to his exit less than a week after making his much anticipated return.
Ryna Burr came out of the game B7, looking uncomfortable after missing with a 2-2 slider. Catcher Tyler Heineman signaled to the dugout after the pitch.
Burr was just activated by the Blue Jays on July 5 after opening the season on the IL with a right shoulder injury.

This is not good news for the Blue Jays but there has yet to be any additional information announced as it is likely they will give additional information on the injury once the game is done.

Burr only got back into the lineup on July 5th after being on IL to start the season and the fact that he is already down shows that he might have rushed back from his injury.
Hopefully this is nothing too serious as the Blue Jays cannot afford another serious injury in their bullpen.
It is clear that Ross Atkins needs to bring in some relievers at the deadline since the Blue Jays will not be able to last in the playoffs with all these injuries.
