Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider spoke to reporters ahead of game 5 this evening and announced the starting pitcher for game 6.
Blue Jays announce Keivn Gausman as starter for game 6
After the Blue Jays win last night in Los Angeles, they tied up the series at 2-2 which means they were guaranteed to head back to Toronto to close out the series and Schneider has now announced who will start for game 6.
The Blue Jays will be sending
Kevin Gausman out for game 6 with a chance to win the World Series at home in front of the Blue Jays fan base.
Kevin Gausman starts on Friday. He has the opportunity to turn his own picture into the coldest picture ever. LET'S FKN GO FELLAS.
Gausman has been phenomenal for the Blue Jays throughout the playoff and as the leader for this pitching rotation and a veteran on the team, there seem to be no one better for the job than Gausman.
Schneider also told the media that he cannot wait to get back to Toronto for game 6 to see and feel the sound from the fans roaring in the stadium.
«I can't wait to see what Rogers Centre is going to look, feel and sound like,» John Schneider said about Game 6.
The Blue Jays were giving no chance by the media of beating the Dodgers in the World Series are now just one win away from winning it all and it is up to Gausman to lead them to the promised land.
