Toronto Blue Jays announce unfortunate starting rotation against the Yankees
The Toronto Blue Jays are set to begin their series against the New York Yankees tomorrow and the starting rotation has been announced with Chris Bassitt, Max Scherzer and Kevin Gausman pitching.
The Blue Jays ended up using Shane Bieber in their final game against the Cincinnati Reds yesterday which many fans found a bizarre move as he would have been much more useful against the Yankees.

Toronto is headed to New York to begin a massive series tomorrow against the Yankees as they only sit 3.5 games ahead of them in the AL East standings as of right now.
The Blue Jays will have Gausman on the mound tomorrow, then Scherzer pitching on Friday followed by Bassitt on Sunday to close out the series.
Blue Jays enjoy an off-day today before a huge series in the Bronx vs NYY.

Fri: Gausman (8-10, 3.75 ERA) - Schlittler (2-2, 2.61 ERA)
Sat: Scherzer (5-2, 4.11 ERA) - Gil (2-1, 3.68 ERA)
Sun: Bassitt (11-7, 4.10 ERA) - Fried (15-5, 2.98 ERA)

Gausman currently has the best ERA out of the three pitcher that the Blue Jays will be sending out for the series with a 3.75 and a 8-10 record.
The tough part is that the Yankees will have Cam Schlittler and his 2.61 ERA pitching tomorrow, Luis Gil on Saturday who has a 3.68 ERA and Max Fried to close out the series who currently has a 2.98 ERA.
The good news is that the Blue Jays have done very well against Fried this season but at the same time it certainly will not be an easy series since they have to face three incredible pitchers.
The Blue Jays take on the Yankees tomorrow night at 7:05 PM at Yankees stadium with Gausman on the mound.
