The Toronto Blue Jays host the Seattle Mariners for game 1 of the ALCS tomorrow and while many thought Bo Bichette would be back in time, he seems to suffer an unfortunate setback today.

Bichette was said to be doing very well in the latest update and many believe that he would likely be back and ready to go for game 1 might things might have changed.

During a press conference this afternoon, manager John Schneider stated that the real test for Bichette's knee would be today as he ran around the bases and added that they had yet to make a decision on him just yet.
Bo Bichette is «running the bases right now, as we speak», says John Schneider.

They're still making that decision and it sounds like today is the big test. He ran in the outfield yesterday and is cranking it up on the bases today. #BlueJays
According to a posted video of the workout, Bichette seemed to have aggravated his knee while running the bases and limped towards third base afterwards.

Walked off gingerly and can be seen shaking his head in frustration. #postseason
As the roster deadline in now less than 12 hours away, this is certainly not a good sign for Bichette in the Blue Jays that he is still struggling to run the bases.
There was talk of having him just be put in as DH for the series but if he is unable to run the bases, he might not even be able to be DH.
The Blue Jays roster will be announced early in the morning and it looks like Bichette might not be on it afterall.
