Toronto's offense has been at an all-time low latestly as it seems like they cannot figure out how to hit a homerun and the lack of offense was on full display during their series against the Houston Astros.
Jamie Campbell makes shocking announcement regarding the Blue Jays last night
The Blue Jays have have been on a historically bad run so far this season when it comes to offense as they are one of the team's with the fewest homeruns this season and lately just getting a single hit seems like an impossible task.
Broadcaster Jamie
Campbell posted last night that the Blue Jays just tied their record for the fewest amount of hits in a three game series as they finished with 9 hits which they did last season in Houston as well.
#BlueJays record for fewest hits in a three-game series is 9: April 1-3, 2024 in Houston.
The Blue Jays ended up going 9 for 90 throughout this series against the Astros which is exactly why they ended up getting swept in the series since you cannot win games with a .100 batting average.
This Toronto lineup is scuffling on a historic level right now. The Blue Jays went 9-for-90 (.010) over their three-game series in Houston. That's the second-lowest batting average in a three-game span in franchise history.
The Blue Jays need to make some massive changes as they started off the season on fire but have since cooled off quite a bit which is quite similar to what took place last year.
While it is still very early into the season, this can end up getting away from the Blue Jays rather quickly if they do not fix this since they currently sit at .480 on the season with a 12-13 record.
