Blue Jays call up Jonatan Clase and place Ryan Burr on 60 day IL
The Blue Jays announced a few roster moves ahead of their double-header this afternoon which they decided to call up Jonatan Clase as their 27th man which means they might send someone else down at the end of the series.
Toronto also announced that relief pitcher Ryan Burr has been placed on 60 day IL which means his recovery is taking longer than expected and he will not be back for quite some time.
OF Jonatan Clase is the 27th man for the Blue Jays in today's doubleheader vs the Yankees. They also transferred Ryan Burr to the 60-day injured list.

- OF Jonatan Clase has been appointed from Triple-A as the 27th man for both games of today's DH
- RHP Ryan Burr has been transferred to the 60-day IL (right shoulder inflammation)
Clase has already been added to the Blue Jays lineup for their first game against the Yankees at 1:35 PM as he will be 8th in the order behind
Ernie Clement and ahead of
Myles Straw.
