LHP Justin Bruihl (recently DFA'd) to the Cleveland Guardians in exchange for cash considerations.

Bruihl is coming off a rough season in Toronto as he bounced between the minors and majors all season, finishing with a 5.27 ERA in 15 games across 13.2 innings pitched with 18 strikeouts in the MLB.
The now former Blue Jays pitcher is still trying to find his form from his first two season in the league when he was with the Los Angeles Dodgers and finished with an ERA below 4.00 in both seasons.
This is a solid move for the Blue Jays since they were able to at least go and get a bit of money in exchange for Bruihl who they were likely to lose anyway after he cleared waivers.
Bruihl will now look to bounce back with Guardians in hopes of turning his career around and finally finding a permanent spot in Cleveland's bullpen for the 2026 season.
Blue Jays fans wish him nothing but the best with the rest of his career.
