The Blue Jays were expecting to get Varsho back soon as he was expected to start his rehab assignment this week with the FCL Blue Jays but it looks like he had some kind of setback.
According to reports, Varsho was expected to start on Monday but now something has occurred but the team has yet to announce if a problem came up with his injury or if he simply is not ready yet.
It's rehab city in the FCL today, with SP Easton Lucas, SS Josh Kasevich and OF Yeuni Munoz also with FCL Jays. Recently signed LHP Joe Mantiply (former All Star) also in the 'pen

Hopefully this is nothing serious and all it ends up being is that Varsho needed a few more days to fully recover before taking the field again.
The Blue Jays have been playing extremely well without Varsho but adding him back to the lineup will only help.
It will be interesting to see when Varsho is finally able to get back in.
