The Toronto Blue Jays have been linked to Japanese third baseman Kazuma Okamoto and many are expecting the two to reach an agreement soon.
Between trade and free agents, the Blue Jays have been linked to all sorts of players so far this off-season as many executives have stated they have been the most aggressive team this winter.

Okamoto is apparently getting a lot of interest from multiple teams which includes the Blue Jays, the Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates.

According to a couple recent reports, the Blue Jays and Okamoto are apparently expected to reach an agreement and they would be looking to use him as a third baseman.
#BlueJays are planning to use the posting system to sign INF Kazuma Okamoto. Red Sox & Pirates among teams showing interest. 3rd base will be the focus with Jays but could also play 1B and 2B. #BlueJays like him as a utility player. No deal is imminent.
Last season in Japan, Okamoto finished with a .322 batting average, 15 home runs and 51 RBIs in 77 games.
