The Toronto Blue Jays had a heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Mariners in game 1 of the ALCS, to add to that Nathan Lukes was forced to leave the game in the fourth inning due to injury, luckily for them he will back in action for game 2.

The Blue Jays will face the Mariners in game 2 tonight and aim to even the series back up 1-1.

Blue Jays avoid disaster with Nathan Lukes returning for game 2.

The TSN staff gave an update on Nathan Lukes, and announces the right fielder will be good to go come game time for Monday night against the Mariners .
"The 31-year-old fouled a ball off his right knee cap in the first inning, and was down on the field for an extended period before he was able to return to the batters box and work a walk. He came out for a second at-bat in the bottom of the third, but was lifted for Myles Straw to begin the top of the fourth inning."-TSN

Lukes has been a vital piece for the Blue Jays so far this postseason, and all season, not having him in the lineup would have been a big blow in the batter's box.
"Lukes has had a strong showing for the Jays in the playoffs to this point. In the four-game series against the New York Yankees in the AL Division Series, he provided two clutch two-run hits in wins in Games 2 and 4, and finished the series 4-for-12 with five runs batted in."-TSN

Thankfully the Blue Jays got Lukes back in the lineup in game 3 as he was a major part of their success early on in the game, getting them multiple hits.
