Blue Jays Jose Berrios states the team's front office priority should be signing Vladimir Guerrero Jr to a contract extension
Berrios recently did an interview in which he was asked about the Blue Jays off-season and he made sure to point out that the team's main concern should be signing Guerrero to an extension.
The Blue Jays pitcher added afterwards that the team can can sign whoever they want after that and that in a perfect world they can add Juan Soto to that afterwards then great but that Guerrero needs to be the priority.
Jose Berrios on extending Vladdy:
"When we sign Vladdy, we can sign whoever they want But I think the priority should be Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and then if we add Juan Soto, it would be a perfect world."
See like a pretty good idea to me

This seems to be the clear plan for everyone apart from Ross Atkins that has been avoiding talking about the Guerrero contract extension whenever he is asked about it which has fans worried.
The reason fans are worried is because it does not make any sense to not just come out and say that they want to extend him unless they have other plans which is what it looks like at this point.
