The Toronto Blue Jays announce a promising injury on shortstop Bo Bichette ahead of game 6 of the ALCS against the Seattle Mariners.

The Blue Jays recently stated ahead of game 3 that Bichette was continuing his recovery process after missing out on the ALCS roster due to knee problems.

Bichette is still battling back from a left PCL sprain but has began ramping up and increasing his running volume on the field.
Manager John Schneider stated that Bichette will be attempting to run the bases again this weekend and has progressed quite a bit when it comes to his swing.
Bo Bichette (left PCL sprain) has increased running volume on field but hasn't run the bases yet, per Blue Jays manager John Schneider.

It's possible Bichette attempts running the bases on Saturday. Schneider says Bichette's «definitely making progress with his swing, as well.»

Ahead of game 5 in Seattle, Bichette was also filmed taking batting practice and his swing was looking very good.

The real test will be when Bichette runs the bases once again as the last time he did that was before the beginning of the ALCS when he aggravated his knee once again.
This is great news from Schneider on Bichette but at the same time it might end up meaning nothing if the Blue Jays don't figure out a way to force a game 7 Sunday night.
