Angels Claim Michael Petersen, Designate Kelvin Cácares
Petersen's time in Toronto was definitely short as he was claimed off waivers from the Miami Marlins on November 5th and was then DFA'd by the Blue Jays before ever getting to put on the uniform.
The 30 year old pitcher made his MLB debut last season in which he split between the Marlins and Los Angeles Dodgers in which he finished with a 3-1 record and 5.95 ERA.
Hopefully the Angels will keep him long enough for him to show that he belongs in the majors as he has not gotten much of a chance since signing his first deal with the Milwaukee Brewers back in 2015.
