Toronto Blue Jays prospect Trey Yesavage has been on fire this season and that stretch continued last night as he hit a career high in strikeouts.
Yesavage started off the season in Single-A ball and has been dominating to say the least as every outing he seems to get better and better proving that he might need a promotion.

The young Blue Jays prospect took the mound yesterday for the Dunedin Blue Jays and showed out once again as he finished the game with a career high 12 strikeouts in Single-A.
The 21-year-old right-hander pitched five innings against the Bradenton Marauders, giving up four hits and two earned runs to go along with the 12 Ks. -Sportsnet

Yesavage has been unbelievable so far this season and after last night's game he currently has 55 strikeouts with a 2.43 ERA in 33.1 innings pitched in his first season of pro baseball.

Clearly Yesavage is too good for Single-A ball and deserved to be moved up before the end of the season if not he will start to get too comfortable with the level of play in Single-A.
If Yesavage continues to play at this level, he will surely be in the MLB in the next 12-14 months as he is not giving the Blue Jays any choice at this point with how he has been playing.
