Toronto Blue Jays sign former Cleveland Guardians pitcher to two year deal

The Toronto Blue Jays announced this morning that they have agreed to terms with former Cleveland Guardians pitcher Nic Enright.
The Blue Jays have been looking to add some more pieces to their bullpen and it looks like they have added another great piece with a player that has been flying under the radar.

Enright and the Blue Jays have reached an agreement on a two year minor league deal which will likely include a major league Spring Training invitation.

Enright, 28, beat Hodgkin lymphoma and had a really nice year with the Guardians in 2025, with a 2.03 ERA in 31 innings.
He'll spend 2026 rehabbing Tommy John and look to bounce back in 2027.

This signing is great for the future as Enright is a young solid pitcher who is coming off an impressive 2025 season with the Guardians in which he finished with a 2.08 ERA in 31 innings pitched.
The only issue is that Enright will not be pitching this season as he is still recovering from Tommy John surgery and will only be available for the start of the 2027 season.
This is a solid move by the Blue Jays front office who just improve their bullpen for the future with a very solid pitcher who has a bright future ahead and is only 28 years old.
Adding more young players such as Enright to play with all the young stars currently in Toronto will allow the team to continue to build off of the 2025 season and compete for World Series year and year out.
