Free agency has been interesting to say the least for the Toronto Blue Jays, with rumours of them looking to sign Kyle Tucker, Bo Bichette and/or Cody Bellinger, it's uncertain who they will acquire, and they are even going under the radar in signing Alex Bregman.

The Blue Jays have shown their ability to spend on top players, and their team culture built around winning and a solid team bond, that has attracted a lot of top talent.

Blue Jays not giving up on Alex Bregman.

Shaun McAvoy of Newsweek reported on the growing rumours of the Blue Jays signing Bregman. The star second basemen would fill a nice gap in the infield, since Angel Gimenez is making the move to short stop, and if they do not sign Bichette, Bregman will be there at second base.
"The Jays have been connected to Bregman, Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette this offseason. Bichette should be the priority -- he's younger and Toronto knows what it has in its star infielder -- and it's very likely that Bregman is the fallback if they aren't able to retain Bichette. Still, Toronto is big-game hunting, and this feels like the offseason they land a big name in free agency."-McAvoy

For some reason Bichette has not been getting as much attention as everyone expected, either he is asking for too much money, or the Blue Jays have looked passed him and are prioritizing Tucker for example. Personally the Bichette, Bellinger combo makes more sense, it would be much less expensive and allow the Blue Jays to continue adding to their pitching.
"Though retaining Bichette may be a higher priority for the Blue Jays, if the 28-year-old walks in free agency, the team will need to alter their offseason strategy. Toronto showed just how close the team is to winning it all this season, so why not go all in and make another big splash in free agency by signing a proven champion in Bregman?"-McAvoy

The Blue Jays have a lot on their plate right now, they are interested in multiple people, and if they are spread too thin they could lose out on everyone. They need to make their minds up quick and commit to one or two players.
