Toronto Blue Jays top prospect Trey Yesavage continues hot start to his professional career with A-ball Dunedin on Friday
Back-to-back 10-K games for Single-A Dunedin's Trey Yesavage. He has 20 (!) over his past 9.2 innings.
TSN.ca reports that in his fourth professional start, Yesavage pitched 4.2 innings, allowing two runs on just one hit. He walked one batter and struck out 10, marking the second consecutive start in which the 21-year-old from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, recorded 10 strikeouts.

For his second straight start, Yesavage was perfect through his first four innings and struck out 10+.
TSN.ca also reports that heading into Friday's game,
Yesavage had posted a 2.84 earned run average (ERA) and a 1.105 WHIP over 12.2 innings pitched. During that stretch, he struck out 18 batters while issuing six walks.
The 20th overall pick in last June's MLB Amateur Draft out of East Carolina, Yesavage is currently ranked as MLB Pipeline's 88th overall prospect.
The Dunedin Blue Jays are back in action on Sunday at noon as they get ready to face the Tampa Tarpons.
They currently sit in first in the Florida State League West.
If Yesavage continues to pitch this way they will have no choice but to promote him at least once this season.
