Toronto Blue Jays unexpected at home attendance numbers revealed

The Toronto Blue Jays are rolling this year, in 1st place in the AL East there is no surprise that their attendance is in the top third of the MLB.
While it does not match the best years ever from the Blue Jays, it certainly is in the upper echelon.
2025 Toronto Blue Jays attendance mirrors success of the team
Adam Laskaris of Daily Hive Sports recently revealed the home attendance numbers for the Blue Jays. Without even knowing their record you can tell it's been a good season by the ticket sales.
"They've sold upwards of 40,000 tickets for every home game since July 5, and have 18 home games left on the season, starting on this coming Monday. They've won 42 of 63 home games, giving fans a pretty good chance of leaving the ballpark happy. In total, they've sold out 23 of those games so far."-Laskaris
This season ranks 13th compared to their average attendance in franchise history with an average fan attendance of 33 503 fans which is a tad unexpected when looking at their current record.
Keeping in mind it will be nearly impossible to ever match the attendance numbers of the early 90's Blue Jays due to ticket price differences, ranking 13th is still quite the accomplishment for the only club in Canada.
"Rogers Centre capacity changes over the years due to a recent run of renovations mean that the Blue Jays will never be able to reach those 50,000+ marks again, unless the ballpark undergoes more renovations."-Laskaris
While the teams success does not directly correlate to fan attendance it is definitely a good indicator but with the season they are having some would expect the attendance numbers higher than they currently are.
"2016 and 2017 saw the two best average numbers of the last decade, though those teams had wildly different fortunes: the 2016 Jays went to the American League Championship Series and had dreams of being a title contender, while the 2017 team won just 76 games and finished fourth in the AL East."-Laskaris
With how promising the future is for the Blue Jays, it is safe to say the fan attendance will remain stable and even increase year over year, and a deep postseason run can solidify that.
