Toronto Blue Jays unfortunate update on Bo Bichette as he is pulled from the lineup

Bichette went down during yesterday's game against the Yankees after colliding at home plate but ended up returning after the rain delay in which trainers took a look at him.

The Blue Jays just announced their lineup for the final game at Yankee Stadium before returning to Toronto and fans were surprised to see Bichette missing from the lineup.

Bichette is out of the lineup and they have Ernie Clement replacing him at shortstop while Isiah Kiner-Falefa takes over third base for the day.

This might only be a precaution from the Blue Jays staff not having him play in the final game but with it being such an important game when it comes to the standings many are wondering if it is more serious than originally expected.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider stated yesterday that his X-Rays came back negative which is a big positive but that does not mean he could still be in a serious amount of pain.

Hopefully all Bichette needed was a couple extra days off before being able to return for their next series as they host the Houston Astros in Toronto.
