Vladimir Guerrero Jr sends message to Anthony Santander over his current struggles
Santander has been terrible at the plate this year which is unfortunate since the Blue Jays brought him in to help with their offense but that does not seem to be working out and with his new contract they are basically stuck with him.
As Santander looks to hit his way out of his slump, the Blue Jays have little choice but to stick with him and hope for better results. -Chawaga
Vladimir Guerrero Jr gave a message to his teammate stating that God does squeezes but does not choke proving that he believes Santander will get out of this slump.
"Dios aprieta, pero no ahorca," Guerrero said, per Kreuz, using a Spanish phrase that means, "God squeezes, but doesn't choke." -Guerrero
Guerrero seems confident his teammate will overcome his slump at the plate sooner or later. And his message is a good one for the organization as well. While the Blue Jays might have a losing record after almost one third of the season, they aren't out of the playoff hunt just yet. -Chawaga
While this is a great message to his teammate, Guerrero might want to focus on his own game as he has not been bad so far this season but with 5 homeruns and 20 RBIs after signing a $500 million contract, everyone expects a lot more out of him.
Hopefully both Guerrero and Santander start hitting the ball better and soon because the Blue Jays clearly need all the help they can get right now.
