The postseason has been nothing short of inspiring for the Toronto Blue Jays, nearly sweeping the New York Yankees, but finishing it in 4 games, they find themselves waiting for their next opponent for the ALCS, regardless of who they play, tickets are already sold out for the Blue Jays home games.

Thursday morning saw chaos for Ticketmaster as all the tickets were snagged up in mere minutes.

Pandemonium for the Toronto Blue Jays and their ALCS ticket sales.

Arrthy Thayaparan of CBC reported on the unbelievable amount of time it took for all the tickets to be sold out for the ALCS.
"It was a brutal scene on Ticketmaster Thursday morning after tens of thousands of people queued for a chance to see the team play in the Toronto home games of the American League Championship Series (ALCS)."-Thayaparan

And this is for good reason the Toronto Blue Jays always seemed in control the entire series, with the exception of the final few innings of game 3, but even after they lost that game, there was zero panic from anyone. They were confident the whole way through and they will feed off that going into the ALCS.
"With music blasting and champagne spraying from every direction in a tarp-covered room, the Blue Jays celebrated their American League Division Series victory in New York City after ousting the Yankees 5-2 in Game 4."-Thayaparan

Tickets are now being resold at a lowest price of 1000$ no matter where the seats are located, which for most won't be obtainable. But it doesn't mean Jays fans cannot join in on the action surrounded by other fans.
"The City of Toronto said it will host free viewing parties for the remainder of the postseason run. It has not yet released the location for Sunday's event.
Last week Blue Jays owner Rogers announced it would be giving away 500 free tickets for every home game "throughout the MLB postseason."
For the ALDS round, Rogers announced the giveaway location on social media the morning of each game with hundreds of fans racing over to line up."-Thayaparan

The city of Toronto is buzzing, and the Blue Jays do not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. If they end up making it to the World Series, who knows how high those ticket prices will go.
