Tyler Rogers reveals why he chose the Toronto Blue Jays during press conference

Toronto Blue Jays just signed pitcher Tyler Rogers and he spoke to the media for the first time this afternoon in which he revealed why he ended up choosing Toronto.
The Blue Jays agreed to a $37 million contract over 3 years with Rogers in free agency which no one really saw coming as there were very few reports on the two being in talks of a deal.

During Rogers interview this afternoon, he stated that the Blue Jays were the first team that reached out to him this off-season and we he spoke to others about the organization all he heard was how great they treat their players and their families.
Tyler Rogers just spoke for about 20 minutes via Zoom with media memebers, discussing his arrival to #BlueJays' bullpen.

Rogers added that when he got a call from the American League Champions, he was quite excited and perked up.

Finally, Rogers stated that the Blue Jays organization has a great reputation across the MLB and he has heard nothing but great things from other players.
Tyler Rogers added that he chose the Blue Jays partly because he's heard many times how players & their families feel supported in Toronto.
