The Toronto Blue Jays unfortunately loss game 1 of the ALCS last night against the Seattle Mariners and after the game Vladimir Guerrero Jr made a bold comments about the team's effort.
The Blue Jays had a rough game last as not only did they lose but outfielder Nathan Lukes left the game with a knee injury but thankfully the scans came back with no structural damage.

Game 1 of the ALCS got off to a hot start for the Blue Jays with George Springer's homerun but ended up taking a rough turn as they would only get one more hit the rest of the game.
Guerrero ended up going 0 for 4 on the night and after the game he was not too pleased as he was straight to the point during his post-game interview stating that the team didn't hit but was optimistic afterwards.
“We didn't hit,” said Vlad Guerrero Jr.
He added: “It's one game” and said Jays expect to bounce back.

Fans do not seem to be too stressed with Guerrero's performance as he ended up still hitting the two of the top 5 hardest hits in game 1 with exit velocities of 109 MPH and 107.2 MPH.
Despite going 0/4 last night, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. produced 2 of the top 5 hardest-hit balls in Game 1.
He recorded a sharp grounder at 109.0 MPH and a lineout at 107.2 MPH.

The Blue Jays will certainly need Guerrero at the top of his game if they want to squeeze out the win this afternoon.
The Mariners and Blue Jays game 2 is tonight at 5:03 PM.
