Vladimir Guerrero Jr take a shot at the New York Yankees during interview
Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr spoke to the media ahead of the ALDS matchup against the New York Yankees sending them a subtle shot.
Yankees captain Aaron Judge sent a message to the Blue Jays of his own today but had some big praises for Toronto ahead of the matchup.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr says the Yankees is not personal for him
During an interview today, Guerrero was asked by reporters about the Blue Jays matchup against the Yankees as they tried to bait him into saying something.
The reporters asked Guerrero if the matchup against New York was personal in which he stated that it's like playing any other team.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. does not take the bait when asked if he has any extra motivation when playing the Yankees:
"To any team, it's personal for me...same thing with all the teams"

Clearly Guerrero is not too bothered by facing the Yankees as he would feel the same no matter who the Blue Jays were playing which is certainly the right mentality to have going into this series.
Guerrero also stated that his main goal is to bring a World Series back to Toronto and that is high main focus when he wakes up every morning.
"Every time I wake up, that's my focus... win some games and bring the World Series back to Toronto."

Clearly Guerrero is locked in and plans on giving everything he has these playoffs in hopes of going on a deep run with the Blue Jays.
