There was a big leak in the world of baseball this morning as a story came out about a shocking meeting between Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper and MLB commissioner Rob Manfred.
The current CBA is set to expire at the end of next season which is why they is currently a lot going on behind the scenes as all those involved are trying to avoid a lockout.

According to reports, Harper and Manfred had a meeting in the Phillies clubhouse last week that quickly got out on hand when discussing the potential new CBA.
Apparently from the information recently received, Manfred brought up a potential salary cap for the new CBA to which Harper snapped and told him in an explicit fashion to get out of the clubhouse.

Clearly this meeting did not go according to plan for Manfred as things got quite heated between the two.
Everyone knows that the players want nothing to do with a potential salary cap and it is only certain owners, mostly of smaller market teams that are for this idea.
Blue Jays veteran pitcher Chris Bassitt is a representative of the MLBPA and is likely on the same page as Harper when it comes to a salary cap.
