As the reigning NL Cy Young award eh net you think his offseason would have gone normally, but singing last minute and not playing at 100% until July has raised a lot of question marks.
Although delayed, it did not take long for Snell to make. A major impact, and he is showing in his last 8 starts that he is as good as he ever has been.
Since coming off the Giants injured list, he has proven to be Cy Young caliber again. In his last 8 starts Snell's has an astounding 1.03 ERA and 54 strikeouts while only walking in 52. He even added his name to the history books by throwing his first career no-hitter against the Cincinnati Reds on August 2, it was also his first career complete game, which is shocking.
He allows 1 hit and strikes out 12 vs. the Orioles, lowering his ERA to 1.33 in 13 starts since coming off the IL.
