The Toronto Blue Jays are looking at multiple trades this off-season and with that will come the departure of multiple players as they look to clear up space.
Three Blue Jays players set to hit the trading block
When looking at the Blue Jays outfield, they clearly have a surplus of players which has benefitted them at times with certain injuries but when looking at certain free agents such as Kyle Tucker or trade targets like Kwan, things can get complicated if they don't free up some space.
These two would likely end up losing even more playing time if another outfielder is brought in this off-season which is why it would not make sense to keep them.
That leaves Schneider and Loperfido as the likeliest trade possibilities, with Loperfido serving as a particularly intriguing target to see if his impressive numbers in a small sample size (.333/.379/.879 in 96 at-bats last season) can be replicated with more opportunities at the big league level. Jonatan Clase struggled in a short stint in the majors, but could interest teams due to his age (he's only 23). -Fisher
Out of all the Blue Jays young outfielders, Addison Barger who likely have the highest trade value due to how well he played this past season but it is unlikely that the Blue Jays want to part ways with him.
Of the aforementioned glut of outfielders, Barger would likely carry the greatest trade value but probably isn't going anywhere. -Fisher
Schneider could actually bring the Blue Jays back a decent return if they trade him while Loperfido and Clase have a lower value but could still have interest from other teams due to their age and experience.
Moving at least one of these players make a lot of sense for the Blue Jays would currently have too many outfielders on their roster.
