Blue Jays receive unsettling news regarding free agent Kyle Tucker

To start the off-season many believed that the Blue Jays were considered the top landing spot for Kyle Tucker but it looks like things have changed quite a bit.

The latest report on Tucker suggests that the Blue Jays are expected by multiple MLB executives to now miss out on Tucker and actually lose him to one of their big time rivals.

Executives around the league apparently believe that the Blue Jays will end up losing the Tucker sweepstakes to either the New York Yankees or Los Angeles Dodgers.

This would be devastating for Toronto especially after losing out on Juan Soto to the New York Mets last season and Shohei Ohtani to the Dodgers the year prior.

The Blue Jays can always pull through and prove everyone wrong this off-season if they make Tucker the biggest offer but that would mean committing to over $400 million which means they could then up losing Bo Bichette.

If Toronto could manage to finish with either Bichette or Tucker at the end of the off-season, fans will be happy that they were able to add a superb hitter to their lineup.

The tough part about this would be losing Tucker to a big time rival but at the same time, this would be nothing new for the fan base after how the last couple of years have gone.
