The Toronto Blue Jays are heading into the trade deadline as buyers but that does not mean they will not be looking to trade players as Joey Loperfido, Ernie Clement and Nick Sandlin all seem to be options.

A few Blue Jays players are at risk of being traded at the trade deadline

The Blue Jays have a few players that they seem to be willing to part ways with depending on the return even if they will be buyers at the deadline, they will likely need to make some moves.
One player that they seem to be willing to part ways with is Nick Sandlin since he would probably bring back a solid return but the risk would be losing one of their best relief pitchers in a shaky bullpen.
The Blue Jays have a pretty salty bullpen, but they may have to kick in a reliever to make a deal happen. Sandlin might be an enticing piece to a trade partner because of his track record. Working against him is two injured list stints this season. -Postins

Another player that the Blue Jays could apparently look to trade is Ernie Clement which would certainly bring back a great return but would also be a tough move to make since it would not be easy to find a way to replace such a versatile player.
Clement is having the best season of his career. That's sure to invite interest. The question is whether Toronto can afford to lose his bat? Plus, what can he bring in return? He won't be a standalone player in a trade. He'll be a piece. In the right kind of deal, he can be a valuable piece. -Postins

Lastly there is Joey Loperfido who certainly could be traded, while he would not bring back a big return like the other two, he could be part of a solid package since he is a good young player with MLB experience.
Even though Loperfido is 26 years old, Toronto can sell teams on being Major League-ready. He's hit double-digit home runs in the minor leagues in three different seasons and has five seasons of team control. That's a valuable sweetener to acquire a starting pitcher or a third baseman with some slug. -Postins

While trading Loperfido could make sense for the Blue Jays, trading Clement or Sandlin could have some very big risks involved and would not be the smartest move.
