Alek Manoah forcing the Blue Jays to make some tough decisions after superb performance
Alek Manoah has another great performance in Triple-A last night for the Buffalo Bisons and is now forcing the Toronto Blue Jays to make some tough decisions.
Manoah was just reinstated on the 40 man roster and manager John Schneider stated that there is still a chance he returns to the lineup this season.

Manoah was on the mound yesterday for the Bisons as he pitched 5.1 innings, finishing with 8 strikeouts, 55 of his 88 pitches were strikes as he gave up 4 hits and 3 earned runs.

Fans are very impressed by this outing by Manoah because he is starting to show that he is starting to gain a lot more control of his pitches as he only finished with one walk on the day.
I'm really encouraged by this outing from Manoah. 8 strikeouts on 70% strikes, only 1 walk for his second consecutive outing, and just 1 run given up on a home run through his first five innings
He's pitching more to contact recently and it's worth being excited about. His 2nd and 3rd ER allowed being because of the play shown below doesn't bother me at all
I really think Manoah is progressing in the right direction and hope he can have an impact in the majors again sometime soon

If Manoah continues to put up solid numbers in Triple-A, the Blue Jays might be forced to seriously look at bringing him back up to the majors before the end of the season.
There is risks involved in bringing Manoah back up but at the same time he could end up being a huge addition to the lineup if he plays well.
