Blue Jays announce big update on Alek Manoah's recovery
The Blue Jays announced that Manoah will be taking the mound in Double-A this afternoon which will be his biggest test yet as he has yet to pitch at this high of a level since his surgery last season.
Former MLB All-Star & CY Young finalist, Alek Manoah, is scheduled to take the mound at Delta Dental Stadium tomorrow!

Alek Manoah is set to make a rehab start on Thursday with AA New Hampshire.
The Blue Jays have not announced how many pitches or how long they expect Manoah to be in for but this game will surely be a great test to see where he is currently at in his recovery.
If things go well for Manoah in Double-A today there is a good chance he will be making the jump to Triple-A in the next week or two which means his return to the Blue Jays rotation is approaching rapidly.
The Blue Jays stated earlier this season that they are hoping to get Manoah back sometime in August and things seem to be according to plan since if he continues to progress at this rate, he should be able to return before the end of the month.
Manoah can be an incredible addition to the Blue Jays starting rotation if he can find a way to return to the pitcher he once was a few seasons ago.
