Baltimore Orioles acquire former Blue Jays outfielder
Former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Will Robertson is headed back to the AL East as he was claimed off waivers by the Baltimore Orioles.
MLB teams have been busy over the last few days on the transaction wire as even the Blue Jays signed catcher Isay Veras to a minor league deal.

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced that they placed Robertson on waivers in hopes to pass him through and clear up a 40 man roster spot for the off-season but that did not work out.
The Orioles announced this afternoon that they have claimed Robertson off waivers after the Pirates.
The Pirates have claimed infielder Marco Luciano off waivers from the Giants. Additionally, outfielder Will Robertson was placed on waivers and claimed by the Orioles.
Luciano, 24, was the No. 13 overall prospect in baseball in 2022. He hit .217 in 41 games with the Giants.

Robertson was with the Blue Jays until early July when he was designated for assignment then trade to the Chicago White Sox.
In Chicago, Robertson would stay there until mid October when he was placed on waivers and claimed by the Pirates.
Despite bouncing around quite a bit this season, due to his rough numbers at the MLB level as he finished with a .1299 batting average and .173 on base percentage, Robertson did play well in the minors.
With two different teams in the minors this season, Robertson finished with 20 home runs, 60 RBIs and a .289 batting average in a total of 89 games played at the Triple-A level.
