Nolan Perry just gave the Blue Jays another reason to get excited about their 2027 rotation.
Toronto is still buried in the wild-card chase after falling 4-3 to the Yankees Sunday. But the farm system is buzzing right now.
Perry, Toronto's No. 2 overall prospect, has already climbed three levels this season while working back from Tommy John surgery.
His first taste of Double-A hasn't slowed him down one bit.
Through four starts with New Hampshire, Perry has a 0.87 ERA across 10.1 innings, holding hitters to a .127 average with 15 strikeouts.
Across three levels this season, he's racked up 93 strikeouts in 62 innings with a 2.32 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP.
MLB Pipeline projects his debut for 2027, making him the most realistic rotation piece in this entire group.
The rest of the arms Blue Jays fans should track
Ricky Tiedemann already got his own taste of the majors, debuting Aug. 15 with 1.2 innings out of the bullpen in a win over the Yankees.
He struck out his first two big-league hitters, freezing Ben Rice on a called third strike to end his outing.

Little's return from the paternity list sent Tiedemann back to Triple-A. But that first look is banked, whatever comes next.
Further down the pipeline, Johnny King's strikeout stuff stands out. He's punched out 117 batters in 88 innings across two levels this year.
His .211 batting average against and 1.40 WHIP suggest a debut sometime around 2028, per MLB Pipeline.
Dasan Hill arrived in the Jeff Hoffman deal and has already flashed a fastball that's touched 99 mph.
In two High-A Vancouver starts, he's struck out six over six innings, walking two and limiting hitters to a .238 average against.
Cole Carlon, the 39th overall pick, hasn't thrown a professional pitch yet. Scouts already like his cutter-slider enough to call it a bat-missing weapon.
None of these arms will decide Toronto's playoff push this season. But the competition brewing for 2027 rotation spots is already taking shape.
