The Blue Jays took down the Orioles is a convincing 6-1 win and they will look to win the series this afternoon with Max Scherzer on the mound.
Kirk has been given the day off after struggling at the plate over his last six games as he has failed to get a single hit, going 0-18 with 4 walks and 2 runs scored as Tyler Heineman will be stepping in for him.

While great has been struggling offensively over the last few games, defensively his game has not slipped one bit as fans are really starting to notice how good he is at stealing strikes.
We take for granted how absolutely incredible Alejandro Kirk is at stealing strikes. This guy steals at least 7-8 strikes a game for his pitchers.
Kirk has been having a great season offensively and getting today's game off might be just what he needs to reset and be ready for the final game of the series tomorrow.
