Blue Jays beloved Ernie Clement continues to impress fans even off the field

In lighter news, Ernie Clement of the Toronto Blue Jays stole the show at the MLB Open goal tournament, with his play and his good attitude, he played alongside Blue Jays legend Joe Carter, Will Smith and Andre Ethier of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
It was ironic to see the Blue Jays and Dodgers going against each other in a completely different setting than the World Series.
Ernie Clement shines at MLB golf tournament
Dan Bilicki of the Toronto Sun reported on the golf tournament, and how Clement was memorable, cracking jokes and playing pretty well as he finished in 7th for the tournament.
People resonated with his positive attitude and his light-hearted trash talking towards his Dodgers counterparts.
"The Jays team were paired up with the Los Angeles Dodgers duo of Will Smith and Andre Ethier, leading to some playful trash talk. While being interviewed while walking down the fairway after one of his many stellar shots, Clement was asked if he was looking for a revenge against Smith on the course."-Bilicki
Clement responded in a playful way saying that, yes he was looking to get a win against the Dodgers and he had the play to back it up creating a lot of good moments with Carter.
"Clement and Carter shared some great chemistry on the course, with the retired Jays great even showing that he has been paying close attention to some of the current team's celebration rituals."-Bilicki
Clement set an MLB record for most hits in a post-season with 30, and was almost the hero for the Blue Jays on several occasions. His near double that was miraculously caught in deep center field would have won the World Series for the Blue Jays. Nevertheless Clement is more than just a one-sport athlete.
