US media reacts to the Blue Jays getting their hearts broken in the World Series

The Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers played one of the best game 7's in sports history, unfortunately the Blue Jays were on the losing end and everyone is feeling the heartbreak.
It will be a run forever cherished by Toronto fans, and baseball fans in general.
The entire baseball world is with the Blue Jays after heartbreaking loss.
Joshua Freeman of CTV News reported on the hard pill the Blue Jays and baseball fans had to swallow, watching the Dodgers who have $100M more on their payroll than the Blue Jays, win the World Series in heartbreaking fashion.
" The Jays led for much of the game, but with two outs to go, Miguel Rojas hit a home run in the ninth inning to tie up the score 4-4. Dodgers catcher Will Smith then hit a solo home run in the top of the 11th to take a 5-4 lead over Toronto and the Jays couldn't catch up. Despite the loss, the game was hailed as one of the best finales ever played in baseball."-Freeman
The U.S Media reacted in many different ways, but they all gave the Blue Jays their flowers for an incredible run, after finishing in last place only a year ago.
It wasn't the storybook ending they were hoping for, but a proud moment nonetheless. Jared Diamond of the Wall Street journal was in awe of the game.

All that stood between the Blue Jays and immortality was one more win in front of a delirious fan base desperate to see this nation's only franchise deliver a championship to Canada after 32 years. It hurts in the moment, but it has started something in Toronto that was not felt in quite a long time.
The Blue Jays are serious about being contenders in baseball, and this will only fuel them to finish the job next year.
