Toronto Blue Jays catcher Tyler Heineman made quite the heartbreaking post on social media direct to the fans and his teammates.

Manager John Schneider also delivered quite the speech following game 7 as he thanked his players for all they did this season in devastating fashion.

Tyler Heineman shares sad message to fans and teammates

Heineman did not play a massive role for the Blue Jays in the post-season but was there every step of the way and was a big part of the team moral and in the clubhouse.
The Blue Jays catcher took to social media yesterday to post a lengthy and sad message to his teammates about how proud he is to have have played for such a great team.
We wanted this so bad for our team, our families and the city of Toronto. But, as I reflect on the season, I can't help but feel overwhelmingly PROUD. This was by far the most fun year of baseball I have ever been a part of. The way this team battled through seemingly EVERYTHING thrown our way. Somebody gets hurt, someone else steps in and doesn't miss a beat. One guy doesn't get a job done, the next guy picks him up. We give up a run, we come right back and score. This was a TEAM. Every guy pulling their weight and then some.

I can go on and on until I'm blue in the face with the number of selfless players that cared more about the team than they did their bodies. From George, Bo, Ernie and Vlad, to Hoff, Gaus, Bassitt and Biebs. The list goes on and on

I am beyond blessed to call myself a 2025 American League Champion Blue Jay. Thank you to the best teammates I could ever ask for. What a ride. And thank you to the best fans in the game. We have set the standard. And you better believe we will be back sooner rather than later. Until 2026
Clearly Heineman is very proud of what the Blue Jays were able to accomplish this season as American League champions.
Unless the Blue Jays decide to sign a new catch this off-season there is a good chance that Heineman returns for the 2026 season.
