Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider spoke to reporters this afternoon about George Springer's availability for game 6 of the ALCS.

The Blue Jays announced this morning that Springer's X-Rays came back negative for any structural damage on his knee.

Springer has been one of if not the best player for the Blue Jays this post-season and having him go down in game 5 was a terrifying moment.

The good news is that the team had Springer take x-Rays yesterday and CT scans today which both came back negative for any damage and that he is currently getting more treatment.

According to Schneider, he is confident that Springer will be able to play on Sunday in Toronto for game 6 which is huge news for the Blue Jays.

For the Blue Jays to have Springer back in the lineup on Sunday will give them a real chance at keeping their season alive as they now trail 3-2 in the series after the loss in game 5.

The Blue Jays take on the Mariners for game 6 on Sunday night at 8:08 PM as they will have Kevin Gausman making his second start of the series.
