Blue Jays manager John Schneider announces update on Bo Bichette's injury and unfortunate update for Andres Gimenez
Blue Jays were starting to get worried as Bichette is once again missing from the lineup for the Blue Jays final game of their series against the Yankees.
Still no Bo Bichette for the Blue Jays as they go for a sweep vs Yankees
Manager John Schneider gave fans a nice update for Bichette stating that he went through a full pre game today and will likely be back in the lineup tomorrow.
The bad news is that he stated that Gimenez jammed his ankle but did add that he would maybe be available off the bench tonight which should mean that the injury is not too bad.
Bo Bichette did full pre-game work "and if we need him, he'll be ready to roll," said Blue Jays manager John Schneider.
Andres Gimenez (jammed ankle) might be available off the bench.
"Probably for both of them, especially Bo, tomorrow very realistic to start," said Schneider.
Hopefully this is nothing serious for Gimenez since this would be another devastating loss for the Blue Jays but any kind of lower body injury is always worrisome as it could end up being much worse than expected.
