Blue Jays manager John Schneider sends message to the rest of the league
The Blue Jays had a phenomenal comeback win against the Twins last night to win the series after a brutal second game where they blew the win in the final innings.
"That was loud. That was a pretty electric atmosphere," -Schneider
Schneider also added a bit of a warning to the rest of the MLB stating that his players do not care who they are playing, that they are ready to battle every game and do not care if someone even pinch hits for them if it will help the team win.
"These guys do not quit. They do not give a (crap) who they're playing against. They don't care what the situation is. I love it," Schneider said, per Matheson. "They don't even care if I pinch-hit for them (after) they hit a home run. That was a big win (Wednesday)." -Schneider
Clearly Schneider was trying to prove to what level the players have bought in this season and delivers a warning message that no matter which team they face, they will play all out every game.
The Blue Jays have a real chance of going deep in the playoffs this year not only due to how they are playing but also because of this attitude Schneider is speaking of, they never consider themselves out of a game.
The Blue Jays have the day of today but kick off another tough series tomorrow night as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers.
