There has been a new found respect in the MLB for the Toronto Blue Jays making it to the World Series this year after finishing in last place the prior year which has caused a lot of excitement, but this World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers will also help the Blue Jays during free agency.

Free agents want to go where they can get paid and where they can win, aand the Blue Jays have proved they are built to win.

The Blue Jays will be the new hot spot for free agents following World Series.

Ryley Delaney of Blue Jays Nation explained recently what this World Series berth really means for the team going forward. It adds to the cache of the team, it's not just success for one year, success becomes a lot more accessible to replicate when a team has already demonstrated success before.
"No matter what happens by the end of the World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers, winning a pennant is something to hang your hat on. Not just that, but it'll also help in the Blue Jays' pursuit of free agents when free agency begins five days after the World Series wraps up."-Delaney

The Blue Jays will definitely need that help in free agency with a lot of uncertainty of who's coming back next year. Shane Bieber, Max Scherzer, Chris Bassitt and Bo Bichette are all potentially leaving, to name a few, so the Blue Jays will need to sign some big names to replicate their success this year.
"Thankfully, there are a whole bunch of interesting starting pitchers who could be available in free agency, like Michael King, Framber Valdez, Dylan Cease, Ranger Suárez, and others. Winning a pennant and potentially winning the World Series would make the Blue Jays an attractive destination for these pitchers."-Delaney

Framber Valdez has already been spoken about before with the Blue Jays being the number landing spot for him, but with the Blue Jays newfound prestige they have a lot more attraction to the rest of the free agents.
It will be interesting to see what happens following the World Series, and all the free agency frenzy starts.
