On Day 3 of the Blue Jays signings, the organization was able to secure contracts with 6 promising young Draft picks.
Late round picks such as Troy Gutherie, Brock Tibbitts and J.R. Freethy all signed deals. The former inked a deal worth $200,000, with a singing bonus of $50,000 and the latter players all worth similar just a little bit less due to their positon and rounds of draft.
Day three #BlueJays signings:
11th rounder Troy Guthrie: $200,000 ($50K goes towards bonus pool)
13th rounder Brock Tibbitts: $150,000
14th rounder JR Freethy: $150,000
15th rounder Jonathan Todd: $5,000
16th rounder Colby Martin: $75,000
18th rounder Holden Wilkerson: $150,000
These signings are a reflection of the teams commitment to bolstering and strengthening their roster and future with a pool of talented players.
