Yesavage has been getting a lot of recognition for how he has been pitching so far since being called up and his splitter has been having fans in shock.

The Blue Jays had Yesavage for a massive game yesterday and his first game at the Rogers Centre in which he finished with 5 innings pitched, giving up only 5 hits 0 earned runs and striking out 5 batters.

Ahead of the game, Yesavage sent a message to fans stating that he is fired up and ready to have an entire country behind him.
Trey Yesavage told me he'll definitely be «fired up» and ready for his first start at Rogers Centre:

After the game, Yesavage spoke to fans once again stating that he had a lot of funs pitching in front of Toronto fans for the first time and if he could do it again tomorrow, he would.
