Bo Bichette makes it quite clear during interview that he want to sign an extension with the Blue Jays
Bo Bichette has yet to sign a contract extension with the Toronto Blue Jays but during an interview yesterday he made it pretty clear that he wants to stay.
At the beginning of the month, Bichette was asked about his future plans to which he stated that it would be extremely tough for him to leave pointing to the fact that he would love to stay in Toronto.

Bichette has yet to enter any kind of discussions with the Blue Jays regarding an extension as his current contract will expire at the end of the season which has many wondering if they will bring him back next year.
After yesterday's win over the New York Yankees, Bichette stated that this is the best team that he has ever been on comparing it to the 2015-16 Blue Jays team with Josh Donaldson and Jose Bautista.
Asked Bo Bichette how he would compare this 2025 Blue Jays squad to ones he was a part of in the past:

It seems quite clear that Bichette does not want to leave Toronto and if they would just make him a solid offer he would gladly sign it but for some reason management does not see this as a priority right now.
Fans have been all over social media stating that the Blue Jays need to get an extension done.

The Blue Jays have some big decisions to make in the coming months but if they do end up letting go of Bichette, it will certainly not be easy to replace him.
