The Toronto Blue Jays had Buck Martinez back in the booth this afternoon for their game against the Cincinnati Reds and during a recent interview he spoke on his role with the team moving forward.

Martinez stepped away once again recently to complete his treatment in Houston but was back in the booth with Dan Shulman today for the Blue Jays loss against the Reds.

The legendary Blue Jays broadcaster also stated that he believes the coaches have all done what they can with the players and that the final stretch of the season and playoffs is up to the players to decide how it will go.

Martinez has yet to speak on his plans after this season but it looks like everything is back to normal for the time being and his main focus is watching the Blue Jays go on a deep run.
The Blue Jays blew a late game lead to the Reds for Martinez' first game back but hopefully they will bounce back tomorrow.
