Contract extension update between the Blue Jays and Bo Bichette
Bo Bichette has arguably been one of the Toronto Blue Jays best players this season which is why he is in line to get quite lucrative new contract in the off-season.
While the Blue Jays will definitely have some competition in free agency when it comes to Bichette when it comes to Bichette, most still believe that Toronto will end up keeping him.

A recent report from Bleach Report's Erik Beatson stated that Bichette should be able to land a contract worth around $180 million.
Beatson stated that a good comparison for Bichette would be the contract that Willy Adames signed with the San Francisco Giants last off-season.

Bichette will likely one of the more in demand players this winter due to his incredible season where he finished second in MLB hitting only behind Bobby Witt Jr which only happened because he got injured.

When looking at the comparison, Bichette finished with 18 homeruns, 94 RBIs, a .311 batting average and .357 on base percentage.
Adames on the other hand, finished with 32 homeruns going into free agency to go along with 112 RBIs, a .251 batting average and .3331 on base percentage.
When looking at the two players stats, Adames did have a better season overall but Bichette had a bigger impact on his team with how he played which also raises his value.
As contracts have gone up quite a bit over the last couple seasons, Bichette should be able to land a deal anywhere from $180 to $220 million depending on the team he signs with.
