Toronto Blue Jays Davis Schneider's dad has become quite famous online as he has voiced his opinion on a few occasions with the latest being on Alejandro Kirk.
Kirk is coming off an unbelievable season in 2025 which many thought would result in him winning a Gold Glove but he was unfortunately beat by Dillon Dingler.
Davis Schneider's dad speaks on the Blue Jays not going after J.T. Realmuto
Some Blue Jays fans recently were stating that Toronto should take a look at free agent J.T. Realmuto this off-season which Schneider's father was quick to shut down on social media.
Schneider's dad stated that there is not need to go after Realmuto because the Blue Jays have the best catcher in the American league with Kirk and a solid back up in Tyler Heineman.

Because we have the best catcher in the American League and a good back up switch hitting catcher who also throws in relief and can pull a 🐇 out of a 🎩
It is hard to argue otherwise since from defense to offense, Kirk had better numbers across the board and is also younger which is why bringing in another catcher would make no sense for Toronto.
Kirk was a huge part of the Blue Jays this season and showed up big time for them in the playoffs, especially in the World Series.

The Blue Jays could possibly look at adding a backup catcher to replace Heineman which Ross Atkins has addressed but bringing in another number 1 catcher would only hurt this team.
