The Los Angeles Dodgers announced this evening that relief pitcher Alex Vesia have left the team due to deeply personal family matters.
Alex Vesia leaves the Dodgers due to family matters
The Dodgers posted on social media this evening that Vesia has left the team for right now due to some deeply personal family matter which the entire organization supports.
"It's with a heavy heart that we share that Alex Vesia is away from the team as he and his wife Kayla navigate a deeply personal family matter," the Dodgers said in a statement via social media on Thursday. "The entire Dodgers organization is sending our thoughts to the Vesia family, and we will provide an update at a later date."
While the World Series in the biggest moment in most of these players careers, there is also certain things that are much more important than baseball which has led to Vesia's departure.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated that he is still unsure how this will affect the team's roster and how long Vesia will be away but with how severe this situation seems to be, the roster problem seems minor.
