The World Series all comes down to tonight between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers, game 7 for all the marbles, but no matter the result the Blue Jays players will get a decent cheque for reaching the World Series.

They will of course get a larger piece of the pie if they win, but still respectable share of the earnings if they lose.

Blue Jays set up for decent payday with World Series berth.

Preston Hodgkinson of the Daily Hive reported on the postseason earnings shares for the participating teams. The shares are divided based on who ends up winning and the total post season ticket sales.
" This comes from money pooled together from 60 per cent of the ticket sales through the minimum amount of games played in the postseason. The World Series winning team is allotted 36 per cent of this pool, while the runner-up is eligible to take 24 per cent. The number for this year is currently unknown, but last year's champion, the LA Dodgers, received a record $46.5 million out of a pool of $129.1 million."-Hodgkinson

Each player on the Dodgers last season received a record $477,441 for winning the World Series, and that number should be higher this season as ticket sales have gone up, and so has attendance.
Some players will feel the effect more than others as there is a large pay gap on the Blue Jays.
"Well, for some of the team's higher-paid players, a bonus of $477,000 will seem like a drop in the bucket. For example, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is set to make a total of $28.5 million this season alone, so that potential bonus will only make up a measly 1.7 per cent of his total earnings. The same would be similar for players like George Springer ($24.17 million), Kevin Gausman ($23 million), Chris Bassitt ($22 million), and Bo Bichette ($17.58 million)."-Hodgkinson

Then there's Trey Yesavage who makes only $57 000 despite being one of the most important players this postseason run. He will definitely benefit more from this bonus cheque than most. He was only paid through his 3 start pro rated salary, so this bonus will come at the perfect time for him.
